Allen Beattie, Registered Nurse, R-DNS

Allen has been with Fortis Healthcare since 2005 when he was hired as Pine Rock's Director of Nursing. Allen started his nursing career in 1984 as a nursing assistant and has since moved up through the ranks as a CNA, LPN and currently an RN, which he has been since 1996. Due to Allen’s great leadership and extensive work history he caught the eye of the ownership team and they decided in 2007 to give him a much deserved promotion to Regional Director of Nursing, overseeing both Kirkwood Corners and The Pines of Newmarket. In addition to his management of the nursing departments at all three of our Fortis Residences, Allen is also involved in marketing, professional development and the overall administration of all three buildings.
April Bourdon, Administrator
April brings to the Kirkwood Family a degree in Health Management & Policy. She has had numerous management positions and most recently managed an end of life healthcare facility. April feels it is a privilege to serve the residents and families at Kirkwood Corners stating that "Our mission at Kirkwood Corners is to ensure the residents’ happiness, safety, and well being. I feel fortunate to be a part of the residents’ extended family and am committed to creating a caring, home-like environment for our residents."
Stephanie Kaschak, Assistant to the Administrator
Stephanie has worked for Kirkwood Corners since 2007. She started as a talented Licensed Nurse Assistant caring for our residents. Her exemplary work ethic and performance over the years were recently rewarded with a promotion to Assistant Administrator. In her current role she provides administrative and operational support to the Administrator that ensures Kirkwood Corners consistently meets the needs of its families and residents. When asked about her experience at Kirkwood Corners she shares, "The thing I love most about Kirkwood Corners is that I can come in every day with a smile on my face. The residents are like family to me and all I care about is that they receive the best of care and I strive every day to ensure they are happy. We all go to great lengths to see that our residents are comfortable and enjoying life."
